Updated feed address
If you're an old reader of my blog you know that my blog was previously on SharpLife.NET domain name and its feed was http://feeds.feedburner.com/SharpLife, after I migrated it to mahdi.mp domain name, I changed this feed's target to mahdi.mp too but I have been seeing many readers are still subscribing to old address instead of new http://mahdi.mp/feed or http://feeds.feedburner.com/MahdiTaghizadeh.
To resolve this issue, I deleted SharpLife feed from my FeedBurner account and now all its traffic is redirecting to http://mahdi.mp/feed; I would be appreciated if you check your reader and update address to http://mahdi.mp/feed if it's pointed to old SharpLife.NET address.

Four years ago I wrote my first blog post on SharpLife.NET. During these four years I was pretty busy to update that blog very rarely and it wasn't what I was looking for in a technical/personal blog.
However, SharpLife.NET was a good experience for me because I had started blogging in English with this blog and this encouraged me to keep going on.
Since A few months ago when I registered mahdi.mp at Chi.mp, I have been always thinking of migrating SharpLife.NET contents and create a single official website for myself to centralize all my online activities there.
I had decided to write my own blog engine using ASP.NET MVC and in fact I already had it ready couple of weeks ago (because I had developed a multilingual blog engine for a client and I could use it for my website as well) but after I took a look at WordPress features I decided to use it as my blog engine because it's much more mature and rich feature in comparison to my own engine. My blog is now running on WordPress 2.9.2.
From now on, all requests to SharpLife.NET will be redirected to mahdi.mp and if you reached a 404 error page please use search box to find the post you're looking for. If you were a subscriber of SharpLife.NET RSS feed there is no need to change anything because I have already changed RSS feed target in FeedBurner and you will receive updates from new mahdi.mp website; but if you were not subscribed and now you want, please add my RSS Feed to your aggregator.
Because of many tools that are available for WordPress powered blogs (e.g. tools for iPhone), I hope I can update my blog more than past and help myself learn more and more. Not only I don't claim I'm a teacher, but also I have always wanted to be a continuous learner and just share what I feel that can be useful for others too. So help me with your comments :-)
Happy New Year 2009
I would like to congratulate the new year of 2009 to my readers all around the world who celebrate these days as new year holidays. I wish a coming year full of happiness and prosperity for you both in your personal life and also your job and technical stuff.
Unfortunately 2008 was not a very good and productive year for me despite I didn’t had any major problem and I was happy with my wife, my little daughter and my good friends but I expected better life and work opportunities. Anyway we passed 2008 and it’s time to take a fresh breath!
In my opinion it’s not late yet while we are alive! We’ve started a new year and I hope I would gain my goals in this new year.
I’m going to learn something new in 2009 that one of most important of them is ASP.NET MVC. Microsoft new web programming framework will rock MSFT web dev community in the coming months and I should learn more and more. So I’ve already pre-ordered a copy of Professional ASP.NET MVC 1.0 and I expect it within the March 2009. WCF may be the next candidate. We may also think of relocating our office but we (me and my friends at Digital Persia Corp.) have not yet decided.
I hope I would expand my activities in the .NET community as well. A site dedicated to ASP.NET MVC is one of my main projects (We are at early stage and I will write a post about it in near future; hopingly after RC release). This site will be founded by me and one of my dear friends but I don’t mention his name now because I guess he doesn’t yet like to announce his participation.
As I write more I remember more overdue stuff to put on schedule in 2009; one of them is migrating my blog from dasBlog to something else (BlogEngine.NET or Graffiti). What do you suggest?!
Anyway, I try to make a better 2009 because nobody else can! Let’s remember God and try to help each other more.
